Enbossed
vessels are created when wet clay is embossed in a lace pattern. Then smooth clay is wrapped around the embossed
pattern. The embossed area is not glazed and turns black during the reduction period of the Raku process.
The smooth clay is glazed in colors that heighten the beauty of the blackened embossed areas. The vessel is finished
with a woven handle.
